Abstract

Background. The appraisal of agricultural producers’ perfomance in conditions of the market economy is prevailed by natural indicators: tons, centners, billions and millions of rubles. The quantitative part of reproduction – profitability of work, depreciation, investments – is reflected indirectly and appears to be supperessed in most cases. Underestimation of indicators of profitability of agrarian work leads to a decrease in the income of rural population and a growth of its poverty in comparison with the urban. In these conditions, the social part in assessment of agricultural producers’ performance gains importance.
Materials and methods. The research tasks were implemented through a study of official documents, in particular, the Doctrine of food security of the Russian Federation, where the level of population’s income, providing rational food standards, is included into a list of paramount issues of food security, an analysis of statistical data, which shows a low pay level of work in the agricultural sector and income of rural population being a serious social risk.
Results and conclusions
. To strengthen the social part in the assessment of results it is suggested to regulate a ratio between labor remuneration growth and the employer’ profit in the gross value added structure, and also to include their standard rates in the system of social partnership.

Key words

profitability of work, households, located resources, gross value added, GVA structure, social justice and partnership
